Kids Academy

The Junior Golf Academy at NEGC has made a mark as one of the most successful Academies in the country. A dedicated team of resident coaches train and guide over 75 girls and boys from the Nuwara Eliya District. The academy is conducted on Monday and Thursday afternoons. S. Duwarshan is one of the stars to have emerged from the Academy and has gone on to win junior national events, also represented Sri Lanka at International events. The N.E.G.C. Junior Open and the Nuwara Eliya Inter-School Golf Tournament are much awaited events in the N.E.G.C. Junior Calendar and the academy also participates at other junior golf events conducted around the country.
